The other night, I got into an interesting conversation with my friend Melissa, and we have what's known as an open-book session - nothing is off limits, ask anything you want.....so she asked me what my greatest fear was, and this was my response:
mine is death, but my own....how Michelle, McKenna, or baby-2-be ...what they would do, or how they would manage without me. THen I think of my closest friends: You, Rick, Bill, Jodi.....what will they do without me in their life...will they move on? Will they be sad? Will I be missed? Then my family --- how devistating will it be for them ..... I dont want to ever have to put them through that...then I think of my sister's 2 kids, on of whom I am a godparent for....and how I left them too....
So, this is my post about my greatest fear.....my losing my family, my friends, and the pain that I would leave behind. I know I wont live forever, but I do want to live long enough to see my kids do things, like get married, have kids of their own, and grow old. Sometimes people cant, dont, or wont face their fears. This is my fear, and I face it every day when I travel to and from work - the drivers around here suck! But, I just do my thing and watch out for myself....
Something short and sweet for now...hope all is well with you as you read this :o)
