I was out on YouTube (I dont know why this place is so addicting) and I went searching for videos. Growing up a (and still a huge) Stryper fan, I always wanted to drum like Robert Sweet. Well, here is a video of a guy who rocks the house....literally....and delivers a spot-on rendition of "Soldiers Under Command"...
Man! That guy can rock!!! he has almost 60 videos on his YouTube. Here are a couple more videos I liked:
Then there were the two videos that were shot for the song "Honestly"...the version they wanted (this version) and the one MTV wanted (the one where they are all just on a stage playing)...this is the one I liked more:
Then of course you have to have some Pantera but instead of the "anger management" video you may be expecting, this is a tribute to Dimebag Darrell Abbott (R.I.P. Darrell)
I will never forget the day that it happened, or how I found out...truly a musical genius taken from us unnecessarily.
And of course to get the dust off the old videos pile, here is a classic from back in the day -- SO, what's on YOUR mind? :)
Enjoy the rest of your day!
